Warranty

 

Warranty conditions

The Invoice, as a receipt for your purchase, should be kept carefully. You will need it for warranty claims. If you assign your PC or Electronic device to a different user, the remaining term will be assigned to the new user. Invoice and warranty assignment should accompany the PC.

The warranty will apply as stated below under the following conditions:

 

·          Computer system services done by Lorters Computer Services will have a 1-month service warranty however viruses and spyware cannot be warranted due to the fact that they can be caused by the specific user’s internet activities and practices. Customers will be allowed one (1) business day to bring back any computer that they feel was never cured of the spyware or virus.

·          All electronic parts used have a 1-year warranty.

           
The warranty does not apply or is void under the following conditions:

• Deficiencies which result from transportation, accidents, natural disaster, vandalism, improper use, incorrect maintenance or incorrect repair by others.
• Change of software, viruses, spyware, mal-operation, incorrect installations, or other modifications not agreed by with us.
• Disrespect of instructions in enclosed documentations.
• Incompatibility or malfunction, resulting from products not installed or furnished by us.
• Phenomena which occur with the inevitable aging process of the product.
• Deficiencies resulting from external appliances.
• Any deficiencies of a product whose serial number has been changed or removed.

Warranty terms for replaced parts will end at the same time as that of the original warranty term for the complete product.

If you return a PC on terms of warranty you can remove programs, data or removable storage media. Lorters Computer Services cannot exclude loss of data on provided storage media. Products sent to us without any accessories will be replaced without any accessories.

Liability restrictions

Claims for damages are excluded unless they are based on intention or the gross negligence of Lorters Computer Services or its employees. The liability according to the law for product liability will remain unaffected. On no account is Lorters Computer Services liable for:

• Claims raised against you by third persons due to loss or damage.
• Loss or damage of your data, any expenses incurred for recovery services or replacement parts due to the customer’s negligence pertaining to the above stated.
• Economical consequential damages (including lost winnings or economies) or accompanying damages. That also applies to cases in which Lorters Computer Services was informed about the possibilities of such damages.

Lorters Computer Services is on no account responsible for any random, indirect, special consequential or other damages (including, without any restrictions, damages in terms of loss of profit, business interruption, loss of business information or any other losings), which may arise with the use of the product. This exclusion also includes every liability which can result of third person’s claims against the initial buyer. This sales clause aims to restrict possible liability of Lorters Electronics against claims which can result from the restricted warranty and/or the sale.
